Hi! I’m Laura FitzSimmons. I started FitzSimmons College Advising to help families navigate college admissions with clarity, strategy, and way less stress. When my oldest daughter went through the college application and selection process, I felt like I didn’t know how to guide her, and I was scared we would miss something that would cost her a spot at her “dream school.” I’ve since educated myself extensively on the college admissions process and gotten certified through Rice University as a College Access Counselor. Now I help others with the same fears I had.

Junior and senior years can be full of stress for parents and students - missed deadlines, nagging, fear of choosing the wrong school and fear of not getting into the right school. I started FitzSimmons College Advising to help empower your student to become the decision-maker and find the right academic, social and personal fit. I can guide them through the process and take on the role of task-master, so you can actually take a breath and enjoy these last precious months with your soon-to-be college student!
